What is in this package?

A 25 kW hybrid inverter by Deye, a 50 kWh battery by Growatt, and 45 solar panels of 550 W by LONGi. The three are sold together here as one system, and each one has its own page with its datasheet.

How long does it run at night, on the battery alone?

About 29½ hours, spending 1.5 kW an hour on the 45 kWh the battery gives up. Switch a machine off in the list above and the figure changes with it.

Does it still need the mains electricity?

By day, no: at midday the sun carries the whole house and 16.1 kW of the inverter is still free. No electricity needed until the morning: the battery lasts 29½ hours.
