What is in this package?
A 8 kW hybrid inverter by Huawei, a 16 kWh battery by Growatt, and 15 solar panels of 550 W by LONGi. The three are sold together here as one system, and each one has its own page with its datasheet.
How long does it run at night, on the battery alone?
About 9½ hours, spending 1.5 kW an hour on the 14.4 kWh the battery gives up. Switch a machine off in the list above and the figure changes with it.
Does it still need the mains electricity?
By day, no: at midday the sun carries the whole house and 4.2 kW of the inverter is still free. The electricity needs to be on for 3½ hours every 13 hours until the morning.
What can it run at the same time?
